After a truly astounding effort by Spindle’s Muses, the Magnum Opus has been completed. As it drew to a close, the sheer Narrative force recoiled on Dream. The resultant shock disrupted the connection to the Mundane and sealed closed the anomaly known as the Pit. The machinery originally used to create the Pit was utterly destroyed. Caution is advised should anyone try to recreate this technology, but if anyone should make any headway, the NFWS would love to hear from you.

Simultaneously with the closure of the Pit, the cracks in the sky have begun to recede. These are closing slower than the Pit did, and it is estimated that they will yet remain open for a few days, perhaps longer. It has been determined, however, that without a route through to the Mundane, the Concepts of the Transcendental are less likely to show particular interest in our Dream.

Sources have suggested that the technology to transfer Creative Juices between Muses has now been found. We do not know the identity of this Muse but encourage them to report to the NFWS as soon as possible, allowing this technology to be further cultivated for medical use especially in the current state of Spindle.
