There have been several prominent changes around Spindle and it is almost impossible that you would be unaware of them. Here are a some of the things you probably noticed.

The rioting in Spindle had calmed down since the destruction of the AOT, but now there are more revolutionaries rampaging through the streets. These ones look rather more childish, both in that they look sort of like children, and that they look a bit like they were drawn by children. They have done their less violent revolution twice now, each time converging on the ruins of the Academy and having a stern argument with similarly childish Inquisitives, before skipping away happily. Unlike the first revolution, they aren't actually doing any further damage to Spindle.

Shortly after the previous Brainstorm, rivers of molten gold poured forth from the doorway to Ascent in Hub. The rivers flowed as if almost alive, coating the streets of Spindle in gold. Half-formed wolf-heads burst forth from the molten metal, snapping at the heels of any Muse who dared step too close.

After about a week, the torrents ended almost as quickly as they started. The gold has now cooled, leaving some parts of Spindle surrounded by snarling, golden wolf statues.

Lorem Ipsum has taken over the Exhibition Hall as Head Curator. All references to Pure Inspiration have been removed, and replaced with signs for the “Creative Commons”. The Hall is now openly accepting submissions from any and all Muses.

Young children in elementary school have been sighted around Dream. They seem to be wearing adorable costumes aligned with factions, ones in black suits with toy ray guns have been especially popular. There have also been children dressed as mutants and other supernatural creatures. Though do not fear, their costumes are but cardboard covered in glitter glue. They seem to be impressions and are not dangerous. Though do be mindful of them if you are near The Pit or in Spindle.

Several speeches were made at the centre of Spindle, by Cyrus, Prince Archibald and Morta Bord. The speeches call for unity and order amongst the people of Spindle and ask for people's help against the external threats Spindle now faces, including that of the Transcendental and that of the Pit.

Onlookers have reported that Dave… from Finance, recently uncovered as the notorious Ten of Masks, was assaulted just after his Trial by a cloaked figure that some are claiming to have been Porphyrius Noise. No reliable reports have yet been released, though Dave appears to have been unhurt and the attacker knocked unconscious for a short while. No-one intervened to investgate, however.

Several onlookers report that just before his knock-out blow, Dave ripped off his shirt and shouted “This is what Exceptional Strife looks like!”
