Friends, I must make a small clarification to my post last week. When, in my excitement, I said that “it has finally begun” what I meant was that the end has finally begun – the end of this project which has been months in the making. I did not mean, and I would like to be very clear on this, that I had only just begun my Magnum Opus full stop. I mean, what else could I possibly have been doing all this time, I ask you?

I will admit that things are certainly speeding up around here now. Having the end in sight has spurred me on to perhaps some of my most productive days in a long time, it is true. But I must stress: do not worry. I definitely do have many drafted pages ready for refining, and I am absolutely not only just getting a proper start now after months and months of terrible writer’s block.

It has to be something everyone has experienced right? And yet… I don't think I've ever talked about romance on this page, though I know a lot of blogs do. There have been some wonder amongst the comments about my own love life, or lack thereof. I must respond and say that while, no, I’m not ‘with’ anyone, as the youngsters say, I wouldn’t be opposed to a relationship, if one came my way.

Lately I have been thinking about potentially putting myself out there. After all, no time like the present? Plus, as my play starts to advance, some romance would not be such a bad idea. Perhaps if I had more experience to draw on in real life, there would be a more natural way to insert a little passion into my own stories.
