Since the NFWS has stopped sending weather reports in Just the Facts, some of us have recognised the need for an alternative. While forecasting future weather is not my strong point, I can do the next best thing: forecasting past weather. You may have noticed some large cracks appearing in the sky. In case you didn't know, these lead to a place called “The Transcendental” and some powerful beings have emerged from them. But don't worry, everything is completely under control. You may remember some spells of light rain around the middle of last week and generally calm winds (a nice change from the Tornado we had a while back!). A rare cloud formation was detected in far dream. Called a Cartoonimbus, it is noted for looking less like a real cloud and more like how Muses imagine a cloud to look. If you spot any interesting weather you's like to share, don't hesitate to send in your reports!

Intelligent Lizard lifeforms have been released throughout Spindle, they seem to have basic understanding of quantum mechanics and speak our language. To our knowledge, this is the only report of intelligent animals ever to surface in Spindle other than Impressions from Vignettes. Currently, they deliver messages to Muses since the rapid decline in squirrels, however they seem to have formed a stratified union and are demanding pay for their services. Rumors that they may go on strike are not to be taken lightly.

Leading metaphysicians theorise that defeating a Concept (or the role it takes on) within the setting of Vignettes loosens its grip on Dreamscape. The running hypothesis is that by defeating the Concept metaphorically (ie within the Narrative of a Vignette), one invoke metaphysical consequences through the feedback with Jo. A competing hypothesis holds that there is complicated Juice mechanics involved in the process and the metaphorical defeat in a Vignette is resulting in reduced Juice-level in the Concept, which in turn leads to its weakening. Due to a very small sample size of available observations (currently only one, and only arguably so), neither hypothesis has been tested.

A statistically significant number of abnormalities have been observed in Vignettes. The nature and source of such abnormalities have yet to be determined. The Vignette We All Grow Up Someday's sudden quarantine is related to said abnormal phenomena. More information to follow, hopefully.

The area of Far Dream once known as ‘The Pit’ has now formed into a sinkhole following a supercharging of Creative Juices in the area. The mutants have been defeated, however the ground around it is now sinking. Several sources report that the sinkhole leads down into an ocean of sorts, but this has yet to be explored. This area, though no longer under jurisdiction of the Academy of Thought, is noted to be highly restricted and survival is not guaranteed within a 500m radius.
